by Bethany Baldwin (Forest County Potawatomi) a freshman guard at Hibbing Community College has claimed MCAC Northern Division Player-of-the-Week honors for the second consectuvie week.
Baldwin, from Watersmeet, Michigan, scored 62 points total in wins over Lake Superior College (93-55) and Rainy River (101-75). Her 70% shooting touch came on the strength of a 23-of-33 shooting performance. She was also a perfect 11-of-11 from the foul line for week. In addition, she averaged 8.0 rebounds a game, dished out six total assists and had three steals.
HCC will face Central Lakes College and Northland CTC in a pair of key Northern Division match-ups this week.
