Southeastern would take its first lead in the bottom of the third as Thompson would cash in on a Shomo single with a two-run homer into the teeth of a stiff north wind over the left field wall to put the Storm in front 3-2.

A Riddle squeeze bunt in the fifth would tack on an insurance run by scoring Shomo to go ahead 4-2.

OBU would get one run back in the top of the seventh on an RBI triple, but the Storm would catch the Tiger runner from third off the base and force a run down, retiring her at the plate and ending the threat to hold on for the 4-3 win.

Riddle and Brigance each tacked on hits as well.
