CONWAY, Ark. – The Lyon College men’s and women’s cross country teams continued their strong starts to open up their respective 2019 seasons as the Scots competed at the Central Arkansas Challenge on Saturday morning. Alex Nagle and Cade Davis (Choctaw) paced the Scots at Saturday’s meet.
On the men’s side, Davis led the Scots for the second week in a row. Davis ran a 21:43.3 in the 6K. Chris Lemp finished shortly behind Davis at 22:03.3. Wyatt Frerichs and Addison Causey were the next two Scots to cross the finish line at 25:42.6 and 25:51, respectively. Payton Dunn (30:10.5), Patrick Mitchell (31:09.4) and Zachary Nohr (34:46.3) also competed for the Scots.
The Scots will head to the Missouri Southern State Stampede on Saturday, Sept. 21.
