New Tecumseth Civics are proud to announce they have signed forward Sincere Toto for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
Toto, from Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan was a 5th round draft pick of the Civics (108th overall) in this summer’s 2020 GMHL Entry draft. Toto has spent the last two seasons playing junior ‘B’ Hockey with Fort Knox of the PJHL (Prairie Junior Hockey League) and junior ‘C’ hockey splitting time with the Lumsden Jax and the Wolseley Mustangs of the QVJHL (Qu’Appelle Valley Junior C Hockey League) where he had 28 Points (8 Goals, 20 Assists) in 43 games of junior hockey.
Prior to his junior hockey career Toto played U18 AA for the Melville Millionaires minor hockey program where he had 10 points in 30 games and developed into a hard working forward that puts a focus on working hard every time he steps foot on the ice.
Civics GM Jordan Richardson shared his thoughts on the signing of the 2000 born forward, “Bringing Sincere on board is a big addition to our team. We’ve heard some good things about him and his work ethic on the ice and that’s exactly what we’re looking for. It’s going to be a fun season and we expect Sincere to be a big contributor for us this year.”
Civic Nation has been home to many players from out west and we are excited to add another to our on and off ice family and hope that Sinceres goal of helping lead us to a championship through his hard work becomes a reality.
