The Basics
The Bulldogs offensive was clicking early as they shot 57 percent in the first half, taking a 17 point lead into the break. Montana Western didn’t slow down in the second half building a 32 point lead early in the fourth quarter. Not to be out done the defense was just a stingy as the night before, forcing 23 more turnovers and holding the Yotes to just 33 percent shooting for the game.
Top Performers
- Natali Denning scored a career-high 23 points, on 7-10 shooting. She added three rebounds and an assist.
- Lilly Gopher (Chippewa/Cree) scored 13 points, three assists, two rebounds and a block.
- Jenni Weber scored 11 points and added a rebound, assist and a steal.
- Lexi Mitchell scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the College of the Idaho.
