by WHITEFISH, Mont.- The Frontier Conference announced the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Players of the Week Monday, in which Sydney Little Light was honored.
Sydney Little Light, a senior from Crow Agency, Montana, is the Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. At the Frontier Conference Championship Meet, she won the 800-meter (2:15.93) and 1,500 (4:58.79). Little Light finished third in the 400 (59.68) and second in the 5,000 (18:57.54). For her performance, Little Light was named the Frontier Conference Women’s Most Valuable Track Athlete, an award voted on by the conference coaches based on the top individual performance at the conference championship meet. This is her fourth Athlete of the Week award of the Outdoor season and the 27th total Athlete of the Week award of her career.
