Alyssa Pretty Weasel (Crow) Led Montana State Univesity-Northern with 10 kills in Win over Evergreen State

The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team dominated in their first match back against Evergreen State College on Thursday afternoon in Butte, Montana. The MSU-Northern Skylights won in three sets (25-14, 25-13, and 25-17).
The Skylights started their first set outscoring the Geoducks 15-3. Evergreen went an 8-3 run to push the score to 24-14. They couldn’t hold the Skylights, as Alyssa Pretty Weasel had their last kill to end the set.

In the second set, Northern took the lead early in the set going on a 9-3 run. The Skylights put a couple of bigger runs than Evergreen to take the set.

The third set was a closer, as Evergreen went a decent run to cut the Skylights lead down by three. The Skylights were able to finish it out to take the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Alyssa Pretty Weasel with 10 kills on the afternoon hitting a .333. Baily Egan led the team in digs with 22. Emily Feller led the Skylights with 24 assists.

The Geoducks were led by Andee Nelson with five kills hitting a percent of .118. Ryle Grams led the team in digs with 16, as Jenna Glenzel led in assists with 12.

Stats of the Match:
The MSU-Northern had a hitting percentage of .214 on the day, while the Geoducks hit .000. Northern also had 67 digs to Evergreen 52.
