Story of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights beat University of Alberta-Augustana in their Field Trip game with a score of 106-52 in Havre, Montana. The Skylights had a big first quarter outscoring the Vikings 29-8. Northern kept the gas pedal down, as they pushed the lead to 26 points (48-22) going into halftime. The Skylights pushed the lead in the second half to take the game.
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by L’Tia Lawrence who went 5-9 from the three-point line with 21 points and adding five assists. Savannah Toms added 20 points going 8-9 from the field. Ryley Kehr was close to a triple-double with 18 points, nine rebounds and six assists. Shyan Krass and Dulci SkunkCap came off the bench scoring 14 and 13 points.
The Vikings were led by Mallory Ogilvie who had 16 points going 6-11 from the field. Hanna McCarroll added 10 points going 4-6 from the field. Meadow Munroe led the team in rebounds with six.
