DILLON, Mont. – Montana Western put together an impressive performance today after they defeated the RV Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears 86-65 this afternoon.
Joelnell Momberg’s seven threes helped her to a career-high 24 points in the game. She ties the school record with the total, a record she now shares with alumni Alison Burlingame (1999) and Jill Dana (2007).
How It Happened
Western took control of the first quarter early on, pushing to a 16-7 lead in the first four minutes behind six from Momberg. Momberg would hit nine points on the way to a 21-14 Western lead heading into the second quarter.
