OGDEN – Weber State women’s basketball opened their 2024 season with a 94-41 win over the Buccaneers.
The first quarter ended in favor of the Wildcats 31-10 courtesy of a 15-0 run which helped boost the ‘Cats above the Buccaneers. Taylor Smith led in the quarter with eight points and Rose Bubakar with six rebounds.
To start the second quarter, the Wildcats went on an 8-0 run increasing their lead over Park Gilbert. The half ended 52-15 for the purple and white.
Following the half, the Wildcats kept their momentum and secured a 94-41 win.
