Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) junior Myona Dauphinais and Northern New Mexico College senior Miranda Salazar have earned the first Continental Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week awards for the 2024-25 season.
Dauphinais, the Offensive Player of the Week, scored over 20 points in six of Haskell Indian Nations’ nine games this season, averaging 18.4 points during the opening stretch. The guard from Fort Totten, North Dakota, tallied 26 points in a 79-53 win against Valley City State University (N.D.) on November 16 and connected on seven 3-point field goals against nationally ranked Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho) on November 2. She has made 3.2 3-pointers per game and shot 51.3 percent from the floor so far this winter.
