HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:
Head Women’s Basketball Coach Matt Svehla on the triumph over Iowa Lakes:
“We had a hard time getting going in the first half tonight and it did not help that we were 1-12 shooting from the 3-point line in the first half,” Svehla said. “Considering that, I was pleased that we had a lead at halftime because we really did not play that well. In the second half, we did a better job in all areas and were 4-9 from three.”
Svehla on where his team is at heading into the break:
“We had a solid first half of our season and our team will enjoy getting some time off with our holiday break,” Svehla said. “We will be looking forward to the second half of our season.”
