NDNSPORTS BRIEFS:
Notah Begay III
Tiger Woods, the world’s most renowned golfer and 14 time major golf champion, turns to Notah Begay II when he needs advice. In his latest blog posting today, in regards to possibly hiring a new swing coach or not hiring a coach, Tiger woods said of his college roommate and teammate from his Stanford days, “I have bounced some things off Notah Begay III, my close friend and former Stanford teammate. We just kind of talked things through; he’s like an older brother. We’ve discussed my options and what direction he thinks I should go. He’s just trying to help out any way he can. Tiger Woods will not be playing in next week’s Ryder Cup in Scotland, it will be the first time Tiger will miss the Ryder Cup squad since 2008, when he had knee surgery.

Native Athletes Profiles
You may have or have not noticed our Native Athletes section on the website but if you haven’t then please do so and check out some the Native American athletes at the college level. We know this isn’t all of the Native Athletes that are out there that is why we need YOUR help to let us know of any from your tribal communities. We would be GLAD to highlight them on our website.
