Tyler Sumpter, a 5′ 9″ freshman guard, from Bismarck State College, has been named the women’s player of the week. In two conference wins last week Tyler scored 33 points, had 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Tyler is from Nixon, NV, and she attended Reed High School.
Tyler is a member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute tribe.
