by Buffalo State’s Alanna Herne (Mohawk Nation) was named SUNYAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after tallying eight goals and five assists in a pair of SUNYAC games last week.
The sophomore communication major had three goals and two assists in a 9-8 loss to Geneseo on Wednesday, and then netted five goals and three assists in a 14-4 victory over New Paltz on Friday. She currently leads the SUNYAC in scoring with 41 goals and 65 points.
Buffalo State (4-7/1-2) will travel to face nationally-ranked Brockport tomorrow at 4 p.m.
