WHITE PLAINS, NY – January 2, 2015 – The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, got a strong performance from rookie point guard Tim Frazier, including a last-second putback basket, helping lift Maine to a 99-98 win at Westchester.
Frazier put in a missed shot by Cory Jefferson with :00.1 left in the game to give the Claws the win.
Frazier finished with a season high 24 points on 10 for 11 shooting, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Cory Jefferson, on assignment with Markel Brown from the Brooklyn Nets, recorded a double-double in his D-League debut with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Ben Strong (Red Lake Nation) led the Westchester Knicks in scoring for the second time this season with 15 points and he pulled down six rebounds as well.
