COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Faylyn Beyale (Navajo) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Year as announced by the conference office Wednesday. The junior from Fruitland, N.M., had an overall score of 456 which was 18-strokes better than second-place teammate Raymond. Beyale was the winner of the RMAC #1 hosted by CCU shooting a 147 and RMAC #3 hosted by Chadron State with a 155, as she was co-champion with a fellow teammate.
In addition to being named the RMAC Golfer of the year, Beyale was also named to the the RMAC First-Team as well. Faylyn competes for NCAA Division II Western New Mexico University.
