Britanie Wacoche (Cherokee) finished ninth to lead Ottawa to third place at the KCAC Tournament #1

WICHITA, Kan. – The Braves women’s golf team finished in third place at the KCAC Tournament #1. The Braves completed the two day tournament with a combined score 756. OU shot 362 in day one and 394 in day two.

Finishing in ninth and leading the way for the Braves was Britanie Wacoche (Cherokee). She shot an 80 on day one and 96 on day two (176). Kayla Kaps finished 12th by shooting an 89 on day one and 93 on day two (182).

Kendra Martin shot a 101 on day one and 101 on day two (202), finishing 32nd. Jessica Carlson tied for 33rd, she shot a 103 on day one and 104 on day two (207). Samantha Schroer finished 42nd, she shot 92nd on day one and did not compete on the second day.

The Braves will be back in action on March 31st and April 1st at the Southwestern Invitational in Winfield, Kansas.
