by Buffalo State’s Alanna Herne (Mohawk) was named the SUNYAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Bengals to their second win of the season on Saturday.
The junior communication major tallied nine points in the Bengal’s 17-7 victory over Elmira. Herne netted four goals and added five assists in the Bengals’ second victory of the season and leads the team with 23 points (eight goals and 15 assists) in three games.
