Seems like every time I move from South Dakota to Utah, the St. Francis Warriors start winning football games. Well, dang, might have to stay away for a bit I suppose.
Big props to St. Francis as they opened their season with a 12-6 win over Little Wound.

Bennett County 15 – Todd County 6
In a relatively tight ball game, the Bennett County Warriors ground out a road victory over a young Todd County squad.
Neither team scored in the opening periods, but both offenses score in the second period.
Bennett County put it away in the second half as Warrior senior, Sam Ireland scored his second touchdown of the game.

(August 29, 2014: Pine Ridge, SD 57770) The Red Cloud Crusaders football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves to 6 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Friday.
The Crusaders now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a Black Hills – Crazy Horse battle on Friday, September 5. Red Cloud will face a Thorpes squad coming off a 32-0 league loss to Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 0-1.
Coming up next, the Braves face the Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD) in a All Nations battle, on Friday, September 5. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Chieftains enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 40-37 non-league win over Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD).

In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) in a All Nations match, on Friday, September 5. Crow Creek will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 28-6non-league loss to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD).

The Chargers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for aYellowstone Trail (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 5. Sully Buttes will face a Battlers squad coming off a 38-8 league win over Miller(Miller, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 1-0.
Coming up next, the Sioux face the Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Lower Brulewill attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 60-10 league loss to Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD).
