Crow Creek Tribal School: Preview for All Nations Football Conference Semi-finals Game

By Dan Ninham (Oneida)

The All Nations Football Conference is a 9-man league formed by eight tribal schools in South Dakota. The conference’s mission is to provide a positive football experience for tribal school athletes. Rather than being outsized and outmatched by public school competition, the conference strives to compete with opponents of equal size and match. The semi-finals will be held at the top seeds of each division on November 1st with the championship game being played at the DakotaDome on November 8, 2019 in Vermilion.

The #1 seeded East Division Crow Creek Chieftains will be hosting the #2 West Division Little Wound Mustangs in the semi-finals of the inaugural All Nations Football Conference this Friday, November 1, 2019.

Own Team Notes:

I feel that we are a very balance team, and our offense is capable of moving the ball both by the run and by the pass. Our team defense is outstanding we have only allowed 3 TDs all season and no more then 8 points to an opponent.

Keys to our success are: staying disciplined, caring out our assignments and playing as a team.  Executing the game plan by eliminating penalties and winning the turnover battle.  We need to be active on defense, rally to the ball and finish tackles.

Three Things We Need To Do To Win:

1. Discipline

2. Execution

3. Sportsmanship
