by GLENDALE, Ariz. – Arizona Christian University women’s basketball junior forward Des Gonzalez was named to the 2020-21 Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) All-Conference Team according to an official release from the conference.
On her way to becoming an All-Conference selection, Gonzalez was the only player to earn GSAC Player of the Week honors twice (Jan. 11 & Feb. 15) during the 2020-21 season. She started in all 16 games that she played in and led her team in points per game (16.4), rebounds per game (10.1), and total blocks (17). She also made 42-of-52 free throw attempts (.808) and was second on her team in total steals (31) and third in total assists (35).
