Williston, ND – The Teton Basketball women’s basketball team opened their season with a big time matchup against College of Southern Idaho. The gym was packed, Sidney High School Band was playing in the stands and the teams were ready to go. Both teams showed exciting things in the first half of the games before ultimately falling in the 2nd half.
The Williston State College Teton women put up an early fight, trailing only by 12 at halftime and played CSI even in the 2nd quarter. However, the depth of CSI, 67 Bench points, fuled them to win. Also turnovers, as CSI scored 38 points off turnovers. The Tetons were led by Eden Lambert (Fort Peck Sioux)for 13 points.
The Tetons face Little Big Horn College (0-1) on Saturday, November 4th. Game times will be 4pm and 6pm and will be broadcasted on wsctetons.com
