by EMPORIA — The Bethel College golf team opened the season with a dual meet win over Haskell Indian Nations University Saturday at the Emporia Municipal Golf Course.
The Threshers won the meet by 23 strokes, 317-340. Bethel’s B team shot a 320.
Freshman Parker Austin of the Bethel College B team shot the leading round of the day with a four-over par 75.
Haskell’s Johnny Wright led the way for the indians with a thirteen-over par 84.
