(Point Lookout, MO) – The Haskell Indian Nations University women’s basketball team extended their win streak to five after picking up two wins at the College of the Ozarks basketball tournament this weekend. Oddly enough, the Lady Indian’s won both games with the exact score of (77-43) against Johnson & Wales University and Northern New Mexico College.
In both games, senior Keli Warrior (Ponca Tribe) led the team in scoring with 18 points in each and also pushed her career scoring total to over (1,500) points for her career now making her the all-time leading scorer at Haskell for the women’s or men’s team. In the game versus, Northern New Mexico she also picked up 12 rebounds.

In the game versus Johnson & Wales, Haskell had balanced scoring from a variety of players as they scored 77 points with only one player reaching double-digit scoring and only 2 players not getting on the scoreboard but made the stat book in other areas.

The next game for Haskell women will be on January 20th at Coffin Sports Complex in Lawrence, Kansas against the 3rd ranked team in the country the College of the Ozarks. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM CST and will be live streamed via the haskellathletics.com website.
