Haskell Indian Nations University’s Seniors Cerissa Honena and Kortney Meat named to A.I.I. All-Conference Teams

(Point Lookout, MO) – The Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) announced on Thursday evening that Haskell Indian Nations University’s Cerissa Honena-Reyes (Shoshone-Bannock) was named to the A.I.I. Division II Women’s All-Conference Second Team and Kortney Meat (Cheyenne-Arapaho) was named to the Honorable Mention team. The Lady Indians received their honor at the 2017 A.I.I. Championships Banquet held in Branson, Missouri. The honors banquet precedes the A.I.I. Championships, beginning on Friday at College of the Ozarks.

Honena-Reyes, a transfer from Treasure Valley C.C., is averaging 15 points per game this season and ranks number 5 in  NAIA Division II in 3-Pt Fg made per game at(3.333).

Meat, from Kingfisher, OK, is a 4 year starter is averaging 9 points per game, 3 assists per game, and 5 rebounds per game this season for the Indians squad.

The 2017 A.I.I. Championships get underway at 1:00pm CT on Friday on the campus of College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.
