IRVINE, Calif. – Hawai’i Pacific University hurler Jordan Curry (Navajo) was selected the PacWest Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance last week against Dominican.
Curry, a 6-0 senior from Farmington, N.M./Farmington, struck out 10 Penguins in two games, with a shutout and a combined shutout in the wins. She allowed just four hits in nine innings against DUC.
Curry is 14-6 on the season with 15 complete games, with four shutouts and one combined shutout. She leads the PacWest with 125.2 innings pitched and has 65 strikeouts with an ERA of 2.28.
This is Curry’s second Pitcher of the Week award this season to go with a Player of the Week award.
