by WINFIELD, Kan. – The Ottawa University women’s golf team finished third at the Moundbuilder Spring Classic on Tuesday afternoon. The Braves finished with a two round total of 761. OU shot a 365 in round one and a 396 in round two.
Hope Tsosie (Navajo) finished third at the tournament to lead the Braves. She shot an 87 in round one and a 93 in round two for a total of 180. Britanie Wacoche (Cherokee) placed eighth in the tournament, shooting a two round score of 190 (91, 99).
Finishing ninth for the Braves was Breana Lowry. She shot a 93 in round one and a 98 in round two for a final score of 191. Jana Jones tied for 12th. She finished with a two round score of 200, shooting a 94 in round one and a 106 in round two. Jessica Carlson shot a 213 for the tournament, finishing with a 103 in round one and a 110 in round two to finish 16th.
The Braves return to action on Monday, April 9 and Tuesday, April 10 at the Sterling Invitational in Hutchinson, Kan.
