Levi Horn, a Northern Cheyenne Tribal member, was waived by the Chicago Bears on Monday, Horn spent most of his time as an offensive tackle on the practice squad the past two years. Horn was waived with three other Bears as the team met its 90 member squad limit by the end of day Monday. The Bears acquired 7 new players and now stand at 89 players until the next required league cut.
Horn, who grew up in Spokane, Washington, became a University of Montana standout garnering league and team honors in his three years. During the off season Levi attends may speaking engagments and motivational speaking tours through the Litefoot entertainment group with his most recent to the Sisseston-Whapeton reservation and Tule Indian reservation.
Horn is also Nike N7 ambassador and has represented N7 at many events involving Native American youth and excersise.
Horn will now try and join other NFL squads that are in need of a 6-foot-7 and 320 pound offensive tackle. Check back often for updates on Levi’s progress @ ndnsports.com
