OLATHE, Kan. – Jayden Oliver (Kiowa) scored 15 of her 22 points in a scorching first half in MNU’s 86-67 victory over Missouri Valley on Tuesday. MNU started the game on a 7-1 run, but the Vikings closed the gap to 1 with at the 3:34 mark. The Pioneers went on a 12-3 run – including 3 threes by Oliver – to open up a 10 point lead to close the quarter. Oliver stayed hot in the second quarter with 2 more threes to put MNU up by 22, and MNU went to the locker room leading by 21.
Valley flipped the script in the 3rd quarter and cut the deficit down to 8, but MNU was able to hold off the Vikings and push the lead back to 20 in the 4th.
Turning Point
With Valley closing the gap, MNU went on a 7-0 run to push the lead back to double digits in the 3rd quarter.

Jayden Oliver hit 6 threes for 22 points and 4 assists off the bench. Kechelle Figueroa had 19 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Jovana Jovovic had 16 points and 11 rebounds.
