Kansas Sophomore Linebacker Gavin Potter is off to a good start to his second season with the Jayhawks. Through six games this season, Kansas is 0-6 and Potter, a native of Broken Arrow, OK, has started in five of the six games.
In Potter’s most recent game on Saturday against Iowa State, Potter earned five tackles and pressured Iowa State QB Brock Purdy with two QB hurries.
Potter collected three tackles in the opener against Coastal Carolina, four tackles against Baylor, five tackles against West Virginia, three tackles against Kansas State. Potter did not play in the Jayhawks loss to Oklahoma State.
Potter’s four tackle performance against Baylor earned him a spot on Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week.
For the season, Potter has 19 tackles. Potter’s next matchup will be his first trip home to Oklahoma, where he’ll face the Sooners on Saturday.
