by (Norman, OK) – Kelly Waters (Otoe tribe) won her first outdoor 3,000-meter race as a Sooner, crossing the line in 10:24.70. Waters previously finished second in the event at the 2009 John Jacobs Invitational. Waters, a senior this year from Louisville, Colorado, will travel this weekend to the John McDonnell invitation at the University of Arkansas in Fayetville.
