HARROGATE, Tenn. – Senior Kendall Toineeta (Eastern Band Cherokee) scored a season-high 25 points, but the Lenoir-Rhyne Women’s Basketball Team fell on the road in South Atlantic Conference play to the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, 73-62, on Saturday afternoon.

STATS OF THE GAME:
• The trio of Madi Suddreth, Toineeta and Kennedy Weigt combined for 52 of Lenoir-Rhyne’s 62 points on the day.
• The Bears went 13-for-15 from the free throw line for a percentage of 86.7, the ninth time LR shot higher than 85 percent from the line this season. The Railsplitters were excellent from the line as well, finishing 22-of-26 (84.6 percent) from the charity stripe.
• LMU had three score in double-figures while being led by the Olive Springs, Tenn. native Rachel Griffith, who scored 23.
• Neither team shot better than a 40 percent clip from the floor as the Railsplitters scored on 39 percent (24-of-61) of their shots taken while the Bears finished with a 33 percent (22-of-67) mark.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
• Toineeta scored in double digits for the first time in seven games.
• Freshman Madeline Hardy has double figure rebounds in three-straight contests.
