Lindy Waters III (Kiowa/Cherokee) Scores 12 Points as OSU Falls to K-State in Big 12 Action

STILLWATER—The Oklahoma State basketball team fell to Kansas State, 75-57, on Saturday inside of Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The Cowboys ended the game on a 19-3 run that elapsed the final 5:02 of the game.

The Wildcats, however, dominated the majority of the game. They went on a 39-8 run that spanned a total of 16:37. It started at the 3:17 mark in the first half and lasted until the 6:18 mark of the second half.

Curtis Jones and Lindy Waters III (Kiowa/Cherokee) highlighted the Cowboys’ scoring efforts. Jones put up 14 points and made three of his five 3-point field goal attempts. Waters III scored 12 points and made both his attempts from 3-point land.

The Cowboys allowed 16 3-pointers in the contest, which ties the total for most allowed this season. Villanova also made 16 3s against OSU.

Dean Wade scored 24 points for Kansas State. He made all nine of his field-goal attempts, including three of which came from beyond the arc.
