BALTIMORE – UAlbany men’s lacrosse senior attack Lyle Thompson continues to earn awards, being named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason First Team All-American.
Thompson is currently the DI leader in points per contest with 6.67, totaling 27 goals and 33 assists after last night’s Syracuse game. He is also 1st in DI with 3.67 assists per game and 11th with three goals per game.
This year, Thompson has five 7+ point games and three double digit scoring contests, coming off a four-goal, three-assist performance against #2/2 Syracuse. He earned a career-high 12 points against Stony Brook and Harvard.
Last week, Thompson was named a midseason All-American by Lacrosse Magazine. He also a preseason All-American by both publications.
