by ST. PAUL, Minn. – Four Minnesota Morris golfers received postseason honors from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
For the Minnesota Morris golf program, Payton Sierra (Oglala Lakota) was named to the UMAC Women’s Golf All-Conference First Team, Kaya Quinn received UMAC Women’s Golf All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. Along with Sierra and Quinn, Tori Grates and Kyle Hastings represented Minnesota Morris on the 2019 UMAC Golf Sportsmanship Award lists.
At the 2019 UMAC Women’s Golf Championships, Sierra finished 10th (288/+72), Quinn tied for 23rd (+98, 314), Grates finished 25th (325/+109), while Kyle Hastings placed 45th (309/+93) at the UMAC Men’s Championships.
