NM State Volleyball Heads to New England for Tournament; Bradley Nash (Navajo) Leads Team with 79 Kills So Far

15243202275_3fdc261aef_oThe New Mexico State volleyball team (3-5) will participate in its final tournament before beginning conference play next week.  The Aggies travel to Durham, N.H., this weekend to play three matches during the Holly Young Invitational hosted by the University of New Hampshire.

NM State begins the tournament by facing Rhode Island on Friday, Sept. 19, at 2:30 p.m. (MDT).  The Aggies then play two matches on Saturday, Sept. 20, first versus Brown at 8 a.m. (MDT) and finally versus host New Hampshire at 5 p.m. (MDT).  This will be the first meeting between NM State and all three teams.

Junior outside hitter Bradley Nash (Navajo)  leads the Aggies with 79 total kills and a 2.82 kills/set average.  Nash’s kills rank 8th in the Western Athletic Conferece (WAC) right now

The Aggies will have six home matches produced for TV by AggieVision and 14 matches on local radio.  The remaining 12 radio matches will be aired on KGRT AM 570.  Radio coverage includes all WAC matches not produced for TV, matches versus rivals UNM and UTEP and any NM State postseason play.
