Serving as the unoffical tournament to the opening weekend of AAU basketball season, the NY2LA Swish N’ Dish Spring preview tournament did not disappoint in bringing in some top 2013 talent across country. These newly appointed high school seniors looked to showcase their talents and finailze their college choices coming into their final year of play.
One of those new soon-to-be-senior’s was Bronson Koenig, of the Ho-Chunk nation, playing out of Lacrosse, Wisconsin and also a verbal committ to the University of Wisconsin. Bronson is a top 50 recruit as listed by all scouting and ranking services.
Here is what NY2LASPORTS says:
Bronson Koenig, 6-2, PG, Wisconsin Swing: New summer, new AAU team for Koenig. After killing last summer with JP Tokoto and Sam Dekker for Wisconsin Playground Warriors, he opted to run his final summer of AAU with the Swing and appears to be taking that next step in his game. Bronson made pinpoint passes, shot the lights out, and controlled the game to the point that he took the Swing to the U17 title game. We would have loved to see the Wisconsin recruit be a little more aggressive for himself, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
