STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Thomas Dziagwa had a career-high 16 points as Oklahoma State rolled to a 101-74 victory over Houston Baptist on Sunday in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The game was tight early before the Cowboys went on a 14-2 run to close the first half and give them a 22 point lead.
The Cowboys started the game making 24 straight free throws, which is a new Big 12 record. OSU finished 94 percent from the free-throw line, which is the 23rd best mark in NCAA history (min. 30 made).
The 101 points was the Cowboys’ top offensive output of the season with five players scoring in double-digits.
The Cowboys got a lift from their bench and outscored the Huskies bench, 61-29.
Cameron McGriff had a career-high 14 points and shot 8-8 from the free-throw line.
Jeffrey Carroll played his third game of the year, contributing 13 points and eight rebounds.
Kendall Smith scored 16 points with five assists.
Davon Dillard made his first appearance and scored nine points and added three rebounds in 13 minutes.
Lindy Waters, III, (Kiowa/Cherokee) added 7 points and had 5 assists.
