by WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The newest Bulldog of the Week has been chosen, with the award going to Phill Baker–(MHA Nation) who helped the SWOSU men’s basketball team to a Great American Conference victory on Saturday. The award is bought to you by Wright Wradio, home of the Bulldogs over the airwaves on both 95.5 ‘The Coyote’ and 100.3 ‘Coyote Classic’.
Baker (New Town, N.D.) had the best game of his young career at SWOSU, knocking down all three of his field goal attempts and 6-of-8 free throws on Saturday, which was good for a career-high 12 points in the Bulldogs win over Harding. He also pulled down six rebounds and recorded one steal, but the most impressive stat of the afternoon was that SWOSU outscoring Harding by 15 points during the 18 minutes he was on the court.
