Jacob Riley (Laguna Pueblo) Named to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Team

Men’s All-RMAC Academic 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western New Mexico University cross country runner Jacob Riley (Laguna Pueblo) wase named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Team Thursday.

In order to be named to the list, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve, and have completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution. The student-athlete’s cumulative GPA is what they had earned prior cross country season beginning.

Riley made the list as the sophomore from New Laguna, N.M., holds a 3.47 GPA and is majoring in criminal justice. Riley paced WNMU at both the George Kyte Classic where he placed seventh and at the Incarnate Word Invite coming in 12^th. He also finished in 36^th at the UC San Diego Triton Classic.
