The Cardinals 7-game winning streak ended Saturday afternoon in a 83-77 loss at Yakima Valley Community College. NIC could not buy a bucket from beyond the arc, shooting just 14% (3-21) in the NWAC opener. Three Cards scored in double-figures. Sophomore Tyler Brimhall led the way with 17 points, freshman RayQuan Evans (Crow Tribe) tossed in 16 while freshman Jared Greene added 13. The #5 ranked Cards drop to 10-4 overall, 0-1 NWAC.
