by Robert Iron Shell (Rosebud Sioux) has been named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week for his performance last week at the Dordt Invitational.
Iron Shell went 3-3 at this year’s Dordt Invitational, winning all three events he competed in, the 200, 400 and 4x100m relay. His time of 21.51 in the 200m hit the NAIA “B” Standard and was just short of his 21.46 time last week that obtained the “A” standard. Iron Shell and the rest of the Chargers will compete at the Sioux City Relays this weekend.
