Sadie Glade (Oglala Lakota) signed her letter of intent to continue her basketball career at College of Saint Mary (NE)

OMAHA, Neb. – The College of Saint Mary basketball team will have a new member when second semester starts.

Sadie Glade recently signed her letter of intent to continue her education and basketball career at CSM. The 5-8 guard is currently at Oglala Lakota College.

Glade, the daughter of Sammi Glade, graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 2022 where she played basketball and also ran cross country and track & field. She earned all-conference and all-state honors both her junior and senior seasons.

“We are really excited to have Sadie coming on board,” CSM Coach Kirk Walker said. “We stayed in contact after her senior year was over and reconnected about the opportunities here at CSM. The fit was good for both of us at this time.

“Sadie is a quality student-athlete and a high IQ player who shoots it well and can stretch the floor for us. She is a solid defender who understands angles and will also add rebounding toughness to our team. We are so happy to have Sadie joining us at semester and having a positive impact on our team both on and off the court.”

Glade plans to pursue Exercise Science at CSM. She says her favorite sports hero is Becky Hammon and her hobbies include reading, writing and going to coffee shops.

“I chose CSM because it made me feel most comfortable with where I will be living,” she said
