Sadie Kelley (Oneida/Kiowa/Comanche/Shoshone/Paiute), senior at Pulaski High School was co-medalist at recent regional and sectional golf meets and will be playing at the Wisconsin State Golf Meet on October 14 and 15, 2019 at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. Sadie is the daughter of Lance and Jennifer Kelley of Oneida, Wisconsin.
“At sectionals I played decent and good enough to make it,” said Sadie. “I started playing a little rough, but pulled it together after the first few holes. I made 14 straight pars in a row, and I missed a few birdie putts but I’m hoping they will drop next week at state. I need to focus this week by practicing everyday and getting lessons with my swing coach, Justin Nishimoto. Also, just doing my regular routine of when I practice because I don’t want to try anything new. Doing my regular routine will train my mind that next week at state is just like a regular round, and that I should treat it with the same mentality I always do.”
