Sandy Cohen III (Oneida) scored a team-high 18 points in a 82-65 victory on the road at Cleveland State

CLEVELAND, Ohio (GreenBayPhoenix.com) — Holding Cleveland State scoreless for the final 5:23 of game action, Green Bay picked up its second-straight win with an 82-65 victory on the road Thursday night at the Wolstein Center. The win gives the Phoenix (12-12, 6-5 HL) the season sweep over the Vikings (6-19, 1-11 HL), and moves the team into a three-way tie for fourth place in the updated Horizon League standings at 6-5 with IUPUI and UIC.

GB dished out 19 assists, a game after dolling out 18 in a win over Milwaukee. Senior Sandy Cohen III (Oneida Tribe) scored a team-high 18 points, with 16 coming in the second half, and also racked up 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Trevian Bell played his best game of the season, netting 14 points on a 6-for-9 shooting night with 5 rebounds. 

Cleveland State shot just 32.3 percent (21-65), the lowest field goal percentage by any Horizon League opponent for the Phoenix this season. The GB defense held CSU to just 65 points total, the fewest its allowed to any Division I opponent this year.
