KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rogers State softball had eight players receive All-MIAA honors, the league announced on Tuesday.
Sara Llamas-Howell was named the MIAA Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-MIAA after finishing the regular season with a league low 1.08 ERA. The Pawnee, Okla. native was responsible for 21 of the Hillcats 41 wins this season with opposing hitters batting a league-low .191 against her. In 142.2 innings pitched, the junior struck out 106 batters (33 looking) and allowed the fewest earned runs of any starting pitcher in the Association.
