by KlAMATH FALLS – The Multnomah University women’s basketball completed a hard fought road trip, falling to Oregon Tech 71-55 on Saturday evening.

GAME SUMMARY:
- The Lions stuck with Oregon Tech early, down by only two points after the first quarter of play.
- OIT outscored the Lions be five points in the second quarter to take a 34-27 lead into the break.
- The Owls shot well throughout the night, finishing with a shooting percentage of 51.9 percent compared to only 34 percent for MU.
- In the third quarter, Oregon Tech tallied eight more points than MU to put the game away.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Sequoia Wheeler (Nez Perce Tribe) led the Lions with 21 points, surpassing the 20-point mark for the second game in a row.
