Star Her Many Horses (Lakota/Cheyenne) lead the way for the Hesston College with 17 points in Win

Hesston, KS – Hesston women’s basketball got their first win of 2022 on Monday night thanks to the guard play of freshmen Star Her Many Horses and freshmen Loribeth Miller igniting the offense. The two combined to go 7-of-14 from the 3-point line and chipped in a combined 35 points. From the tip off the Larks offense was humming with 23 first quarter points. By halftime, Hesston’s lead had amounted to 18 points. The Larks never took their foot off the gas. Sydney Bontrager also continued to contribute on the boards with another 11 rebounds and 9 points of her own.

The Larks leaned on production from the 3-point line with Loribeth Miller and Star Her Many Horses combining to go 7-of-14 from the 3-point line.
