In a pair of Raider wins last week, Tanisha Beetso (Navajo) was both an offensive force and floor general for coach Randy Swanhorst and the 7-3 Central Lakes team.
The sophomore from Farmington, New Mexico shot 15-of-37 from the field over both games, logging a total of 67 minutes. She was 4-of-5 from the charity stripe, hauled in 16 rebounds and hit 4-of-10 three pointers. In addition, Beetso chipped in a pair of steals, had five assists and only committed three turnovers total for the weekend.
For her balanced performance, Beetso is the MCAC Northern Division Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week.
Central Lakes will face Minnesota West and Ridgewater College on January 5-6, 2018.
